Complete set of 6 hard black overprints. The four characters read 中國郵政 Chinese Post.
|  | ||||||||
| Fake block of 4 as seen on an online auction site, they appear in all values and are sometimes inverted. | ||||||||

|        | ||||||||
| Each of the above has been re-valued
			with a soft red 50f surcharge (centre) the outer characters read

			The four
			characters read
			中華民國
			Chinese Republic. Note - Chan lists this set under the separate town name of Haung Hwa Den Tze. I am sure this is right having seen the same stamps listed under the similar name of Wang Ha Tien Tze in an important old collection. All of the overprints known for this town are shown above.

| These stamps have been identified by using Volume II of the Stamp Catalogue of China by Shui-Hon Chan and the four booklet guide The Local Overprinted Stamps of Manchuria 1945-7 by Allen D Kerr (published 1978 and now out of print). Both works are essential for anyone delving seriously into this subject. | ||||||||
