is not mentioned in Chan. The mauve overprint reads 中華民國 Chinese Republic. |

surcharges of which only 2 are listed in Kerr. The stamps feature a distinctive hard purple surcharge the full width
of the stamp. Chan lists 5Y on 12f and 10Y on 12f as
part of this set, these were unknown to Kerr. All of the stamps known for this town are listed above. |

These stamps have been identified by using Volume II of the Stamp Catalogue of China by Shui-Hon Chan and the four booklet guide The Local Overprinted Stamps of Manchuria 1945-7 by Allen D Kerr (published 1978 and now out of print).
