A set of ten surcharges in dark violet
to black.
The top four
characters read 中華郵政 Chinese Post,
left is the surcharge and right 暫作
Temporary Use. Chan splits this into 3 sets, a set of 7 in black, 4 in violet and 5 in red. His dark violets don't coincide with those shown below so the full set may have been hand-stamped in both colours. |

A set of four surcharges in soft red. The top four characters read 中華郵政 Chinese Post, left is the surcharge and right 暫作 Temporary Use. This set is listed by Chan but was unknown to Kerr. | ||||||||
These represent all of the known stamps for this village as listed by Kerr - see above. |
||||||||
These stamps have been identified by using Volume II of the Stamp Catalogue of China by Shui-Hon Chan and the four booklet guide The Local Overprinted Stamps of Manchuria 1945-7 by Allen D Kerr (published 1978 and now out of print). Both works are essential for anyone delving seriously into this subject. |
