Set of three surcharged stamps with a hard blue/black or grey chop. Kerr describes the colour as pale blue, but as you can see it is sometimes darker, he also lists it as unidentified stamp T501. Chan also lists the three stamps above. The four top characters read 中華民國 Chinese Republic, left is the surcharge and to the right 暫作 Temporary Use. |

These stamps have been identified by using Volume II of the Stamp Catalogue of China by Shui-Hon Chan and the four booklet guide The Local Overprinted Stamps of Manchuria 1945-7 by Allen D Kerr (published 1978 and now out of print).
