1941 Conscription Issue - Plate Varieties & Errors |
||||||
Plate Varieties and Errors Zirkle lists a total of 14 consistent plate varieties for the 2f and 31 for the 4f. In May of 1951 the printing plate for the 4f was examined by Dr Mishima and all 31 varieties were checked and confirmed, the plate for the 2f had already been destroyed by this time. A week after this examination the plate for the 4f was also destroyed. It will clearly take some time to find examples of all these varieties to include here. |
