This is a set of 15 stamps with a four character overprint reading 中國郵政 Chinese Post. A surcharged version is shown below. It appears that two hand-stamps were made Type (a.) recognisable by the use of a small 中 "Chung" character and Type (b.) where this is larger. It is likely that all of the above could be found with both types. These booklet stamps are unlisted by Kerr or Chan. Online Auction Fake - 30f Overprint Inverted

This is a complete set of 12 surcharges.
The four
outer characters read 中國郵政 Chinese Post,
with the surcharge in the centre. It is probable that the four outer characters may have been made using the wooden chop applied to the first set (type b.), with the surcharge added later. Note: Inverted fakes have been seen for this set. |

This is a complete set of six stamps overprinted with hard red characters reading 中國郵政 Chinese Post.
All overprints for this town are shown above.
These stamps have been identified by using Volume II of the Stamp Catalogue of China by Shui-Hon Chan and the four booklet guide The Local Overprinted Stamps of Manchuria 1945-7 by Allen D Kerr (published 1978 and now out of print). Both works are essential for anyone delving seriously into this subject.
